Alternator to welder conversion?

Looking for instructions on how to convert an alternator to a small welder. I'm having trouble locating the ones I know exist. This topic was discussed in depth in one of the International Harvester forum boards, but I haven't found it yet. I can't remember which one. OldIHC.org, BinderBulletin, ???????? It's there, just can't find it again. Any help appreciated.

dont really know..but a company called Zena makes alternator welders, might have some useful info for ya! www.zena.net
