LOL....Suns.

At this time I would have to say the Suns. But, with Steve Nash getting to the end of his period of usefulness their window for a championship is slowly getting smaller. The Nuggets on the other hand will be a championship - calibur team in a couple of years. With Allen Iverson in his prime and Carmelo Anthony slowly becoming one of the better scorer's in the league they are getting really good. Marcus Camby won the Defensive Player of the Year award last year, and Nene becoming a great center they have a great core of role players, I do think though, that they aren't deep, so they will have to add some bench talent, and if they do I think they will be able to compete in a tough Western Conference.

While AI and Melo are two of the greatest current-day players, there is no possible way they would be able to defeat the suns in a series. The talent of Nash is amazing, and it should not be legal to have that many 3-point shooters on one team. Was this question from a statistical stand-point, or just asking who had some of the better players?
I love AI and Melo, but this easily goes to the suns.

Clearly the Suns. Iverson and Anthony are only have 1 legitimate NBA skill each, and it's not even two different skills. They both are scorers, and that's it. Camby is injured to much, and last year's health was an exception not the rule. Kenyon Martin is a bust with them.

suns. they have a crafty playmaker, steve nash. as a quick demon, he can dominate every game both inside and outside. then comes shawn marion. this guy is important because, he fixes the D and kicks butt from the paint. and finally comes the man, amare stoudemire. he can kick butt too, because first of all, he's a great dunker. second of all, he improved his jumpshooting and freethrows. and third of all, he averaged 20ppg when he came back from that darn injury. leandro barbosa is a excellent speed demon, both on the perimeter and the paint. AI and melo may be awesome, but 4 guys beat 2. simple.

Suns. They usually make it to the semifinals in the playoffs and lose. Nuggets, first round and out.
