also when they talk about the greatest spring training home they mention Vero beach not the older home of the tigers.
they had some of the greatest players Ty Cobb, and Roger hornsberg
is it because they lost for such a long time or its been years since their last championship. they seem to be overlooked has a historic team.

To bad Tiger Stadium is not around and also that they along with Cleveland do play in the old AL east that would be so cool to see. Tiger stadium had the huge CF and the Right Field roof that hung over on to playing field. They had some great races with the Red Sox and the Orioles. I am not a big fan of the Tigers but I always thought that Tiger Stadium would have been a cool place to a game. I am from Denver so when I was growing up there was no MLB there so I had to ether read the papers or watch the game of the week, so I saw quite few games that were from Tiger stadium, Al Kaline, Mickey Lolich, Denny McClain, Wille Horton, Billy Martin ect...
