You say 'ik hou van jou', the pronunciation is 'ick how van yow'.

I know this because my other half is Dutch and I lived in NL for several years.

ik how van yow. But when I say it the words come out hertz van hire.
I have spent some time working with the Dutch, everyday work languge was English.
I tried numerous occassions to learn dutch but my efforts were wasted. It would end up with them all in heaps of laughter. I just couldn't get my tongue around the words, one day I was given a tip. You have to swallow a pubic hair. Clever clogs aren't they. :-)

Orla C is the only respondent so far who is correct. The right way to say it is "Ik hou van jou". Sounds like: ick HOW fun YOW. It means something like "I hold for you" and means "I love you" in Dutch.

I love you i = Ik hou van jou (in dutch)

The d 'Ik houd van jou' quite unusual.

In spoken language everybody says 'Ik hou van jou' and even if it's written, you're not obliged to pronounce the 'd'. In this sentence both 'jou' and 'je' are correct (but 'jou' sounds better).

It's pronounced exactly as it's written:

ik houd van u

(houd pronounced like a Scot saying "hood")

Well Dutch sounds like backwards German so I would suggest looking it up in German then saying it backwards.
