Min. wage in Idaho is 5.15/hour...so figure that you are making $2.50/hour more than all the min. wage workers in Idaho!!!...on top of that...It's almost $15,000 per year.

I can't coz I'm paid more than that. Just kidding. Well, I AM paid more, but that's not what I'm kidding about. The good reason to go to work at 7.65 an hour is so you can know you are providing a service to someone and earning some of your own way in life and learning valuable lessons to help you get a better life later on .

If you are good at what you are doing after a short period of time, ask for more. I started waiting tables. 2 months later I was bartending. I also volunteered to work in the kitchen on off days when they were shorthanded. 4 months later I was asked to join the management team. I don't own the company after 2 years, but I bring in over 75K.

It seems like a small amount but it beats no pay from no job. Everyone starts somewhere and while you are earning an income you can continue looking for something better. Unless you have others to support, take the job so you can begin to get back on your feet.

All of that 7.65 is yours b/c you work hard for it...and for that reason you should be proud of your independence...
and until you can either work your way up the ladder...or gain a higher paying position elsewhere... it's just is a lil something (for now) to make ends meet... good luck...

Hmmmm.....no job equals $0 an hour and this job pays $7.65. If you can't find a better job very soon, I'd take what I could get if I were you.

Because you want to start at the bottom and work your way to the top. Eventually!
You have bills to pay, you want to buy a new car and be able to pay for the insurance, you want to get out of your parents house, etc...

It all depends- did you graduate high school--have a car if its far--what are your skills--can you do better--will anyone else hire you--how long until you get a raise if any? Ask yourself these questions and will have your answer. But hey, its money and it will add up.

Because its more than you are making now. It is easier to find a good job when you already have a job...We all gotta work no one really wants to..
