You will need to gather up the babies and place them in the breeding net, that will protect them from the other fish in the tank until they grow large enough not to be eaten.

As said, your neon is an egg layer and is not technically pregnant. It may be full of eggs, but they don;t spawn easily and will eat all of the eggs rather quickly so that's nothing you need to worry about.

Okay for the platies, don't put them in a net. Get a plastic, ventalated, breeders box to put them in. You can easily swish the waste out rather than the net. Feed the babies crushed flake powder or store bought baby food six times aday and clean their 'box' often (swish it back and forth until the waste is out). On the first night, one or two might die, and over all you might only end up with one fish so don't panic if they all start dying on you. Also don't worry about your Neon. She is full of eggs and ready to breed, but unless you have a male and good plants and perfect conditions, they will hardly ever breed for you. I have Rosaboras (a pair) and she tries to lay eggs, but they either get eaten or the plant dies. Nurture your new babies and wait until they double or triple in size to let them out.

Your Neon Tetra can not be pregnant because it lays eggs (I think thats what you meant by "preggers"). If you want the baby Platys to live then gather them intp that breeding net.

Did she have the babies already or not?
If she had them just take out the female and feed the babies with "First Bites"
You have to leave them in the net until they are bigger then your biggest fish mouth
Or:
you get real plants for your tank for your fry to hide and you can let them out of the net, that way they also grow a bit faster then in the net

Hope that helps
Good luck and congrats

you just need to wait 'till the mom platy delivers.
but try to reduce the stress, putting some floating plants on the breeding net is useful...

truthfully, in case you have one male and one lady, the male is going to get aggressive. you will desire to enhance your tank, so as which you will upload extra women people. upload 2 extra women people, and your male would be happy - it is important to stay away from the adult males from getting aggressive. stay-bearing fish desire 3 women people to a minimum of one male, in all tanks. it is a threat that the two the Platy or the Mosquito fish replaced into pregnant on the save, as maximum of them are. reliable luck!
