I was wondering if you're allowed to have fake prop guns for costumes in the comic con.
I was planning to go as a WW2 soldier but I wasn't too sure what the rules were for guns.
Seeing how America has been a bit jumpy lately I don't want to get arrested or something.

check with the sponsor of the con--they should have a list of requirements for costumed people. And then you've got the answer from the right source.

I think the gun has to have a yellow or orange tip to tell the police it is fake. You might want to double check the rules on props / weapons for comic-con to see if it is really safe to bring it out.
