Was that a typo or did you really mean that we're fighting a war OF terror? If that's what you meant, then, yes, we're winning, because the administration is keeping the American people afraid.

The War on terror is not something you can guage in the middle of it whilst on going, you do not see people asking during the middle of world war 2, are we winning, when 2,000 soldiers died in a TRAINING ACCIDENT before D-Day even took place. The war on terror is on going and must be won, you can not say we are winning it right now, just as you can say we are not losing it right now, we will lose it however if democrats get in power and F.............k it up completely, with their running away plans. Al Quaeda is bound to regroup and still be strong, however I do not think they are unbeatable, right now, all this talk about Al Zawhiri being the No2 I do not belive it, I think he is the No 1 now, Osama Bin Laden is dead only reason no one is saying it is because we can not prove it (vapourised or no trace of corpse) he has not been seen or heard for several years, Al Q just regurgitates old tapes of his voice. And I am convinced a man like that would not be able to keep quiet if he was still alive. That Al Q are still a huge threat is no doubt, and they would be wether we are in Iraq or not, the fact that we are in Iraq means it gives them a front INSTEAD of being in USA,. and you can thank Bush that we have not had MORE civilian casulties since 911
Stiggo the administration is keeping the american people afraid, if you had brains you would be dangerous thats about the most childish thing I have read on here in ages.

I'm not sure where you got those statistics but we have destroyed much of the terrorist infrastructure in the middle east. But still, terrorist aren't dumb, you kill one leader, at least another one will take his place. But hey, whatever we're doing there is better than doing nothing, terrorism is a real threat in today's world. If you deny it then you live in ignorance. Can we be doing things smarter over there? sure we can but we cant be criticizing every little thing that we do or don't do. It's time Americans get accustomed to the fact that casualties are a thing of war and must be accepted just like we accept victories.

I would have thought you'd caught on to this terror fear game the Repubs love to play. Bush loves to say the terrorists in Iraq are Al Quaeda and yet his own generals say that Al Quaeda fighters account for only about 8% of the insurgents. Another one was the general who annouced the other day about the Al Quaeda leader we killed on a recent mission in Iraq. Problem was that same leader was already reportedly killed over a year ago. The Repubs think they have to notch the fear factor back up to regain any support for this botched war.

We are not being told they are stronger than any point since 9/11?
We are being told there is as much activity (communications and such) than at any point since 9/11.
Don't twist the story to fit your agenda.

The best way to defeat terrorism in a long run is the "beisbol strategy", which means to steal their bases of support, by meaking the terrorists loose their cause, let the bases believe they have won and let them enjoy their victory. meanwhile you keep tracking the head guys. the mistake is to occupy these countries which give them a cause to resist.

Not until Israeli intelligence stops running Al-Queda in order to draw other nations - especially the UK and US - into it's siege mentality/anything goes m.o. Nobody ever mentions that Al Queda attacks everyone & everywhere but never an Israeli target. Unlike hezbollah and hamas. Isreali security doesn't stop them. Hezbollah blew up an Izzy embassy in S. Am back in '96;how come Al Queda never does anything to Isreal or israeli assets?

We won't win until we drop the political correctness junk. Cut the BS. We are fighting radical muslim because of the devils influence in their cult of a religion. Fight to win with all we have and rely on good Americans to pick those bastards out and act swiftly to eliminate them as a threat. If other muslims don't like that idea them maybe they should speak up rather that sit back watching as their fellow wackos blow people up. Until they speak up I assume every muslim is a radical.
