the E6420 speed is 2.13GHZ and the E6600 speed is 2.4GHZ is will it run better with the E6600 then the E6420? Is it realy worth the extra 200.00 for the E6420?

Both processors have 4mb of L2 cache but the underlying architecture of the E6600 supports 64-bit computing and something called multi-core; here's a comparison table

The only, and I emphasize, ONLY difference between these two processors is the speed, regardless of what the last guy said, and the weird way in which the Intel site reads. I would say that it is definately not worth 200 more though, only a slight difference.
