Maybe, the news said that Marlins could move to Las Vegas if the team has fail in Miami. The team wants to built new stadium in Miami but their plans was hold while the team decides to move because of least than 10,000 people attend per game.

Its a great idea, but I really don't see Portland supporting a pro baseball team. They Beavers can barely draw 2,000 for a weekend game and the only reason anyone ever goes is thirsty Thursdays. It will be a tough sell, but if our wussy governor is willing to let the tribes help out then It might happen. Portland Marlins is a dumb name though. I'm almost positive if the Tribes help out, which is what would be required they would want some hand in the name. Portland Chinook. I like that.
