Depends on how many people Al Gore says it will take. They obviously follow very blindly. If he said seven, seven of those crazy people would try to crawl IN the light bulb and screw.

About 46.

21 of them will try to tell you that the light bulb needs to be fluorescent so that you will save the planet by reducing your carbon footprint.

14 of them will try to explain to you the benefits of not using the light bulb at all and how that will stop the war in Iraq because of the dependence on foreign oil. Then they will go on a rant about why we should never get our own oil out of Alaska.

10 of them to keep going on an on about the sea water rising and how we are all going to die any minute now. The ice pack is coming! The ice pack is coming! 1 carbon credit if by land, 2 carbon credits if by sea.

1 of them to actually break the florescent light bulb while screwing it in, then have to call the HAZMAT team to clean it up on the government's dime.

I'm not part of the "man made" global warming crowd, but I do agree that there are many sensible changes we can make
in our daily lives that would help the environment and drastically reduce our dependence on foreign oil. That should be a positive for both sides.
I think more of us need to hear each other out and come to some kind of a consensus that benefits us all.

Should only take one.

One. But it takes several more to debate whether we should screw in the lightbulb, because of the carbon footprint costs.

But then again, shouldn't costs and side-effects and alternatives always be a consideration when we're talking about harming the environment, or relying on 90 year-old technology like the light bulb?

you need a group of ten to do enviromental stuides on how it will effect the enviroment to have another light bulb in use
then one republican to do the instal
but all the governmental operating instructions will not allow him to work by himself because of union laws so the job won't get finished
then Al will come in and sell carbon credits on emissions saved by not using that light bulb and make a fortune

They don't need light bulbs. They have their heads so far up their buts it doesn't matter.

Did you see the pictures of all the trash those losers left at the concerts. HA talk about hypocrites.

I don't know. But I would like to point out that some people need to research what a theory is.

I totally changed all of our lite bulbs all by myself and it feels much cooler at our house.

Good question.

It still amazes me that people can't see that the THEORY of global warming has no SCIENTIFIC PROOF that global warming is man made and that it may be a natural temperature swing.
