Do you realize that menopause is when for a lady it is when it is autumn between her legs and it is about to fall, right?

Menopause and mid-life crises are not linked. While some of the adverse effects to menopause may seem like a mid-life crisis (I.E. - depression, anxiety, etc)., they are two different things.

Women and men can get mid-life crises.

Women get menopause.

mid life crisis for men is technically menopause. They go through many of the emotional changes as women.

Male Menopause (also called andropause or viropause) begins with hormonal, physiological chemical changes that occur in all men generally between the ages of forty and fifty-five, though it can occur as early as thirty-five or at late as sixty-five.

These changes affect all aspects of man’s life. Male menopause is thus a psychological, interpersonal, social and spiritual dimension. Men have reported having as many premenstrual type symptoms as women do (reduced or increased energy, irritability, and other negative moods, black pain, sleeplessness, headaches, confusion, etc.).

There's no medical research to show a hormonal change equivalent to menopause. However, some men do experience depression, anxiety and other effects related to the perceived loss of youth.

Tell tale signs, being hot when it's cold, and vica versa....snapping like a twig and tell your significant other you're not the one yelling bloody murder. Ummmm.....having to use the toilet more often than usual, number one and two...*thinking hard* being the only one in the room crying over a stupid movie....I'm just guessing, LOL Worst Midlife Issues, I'd have to say women.

Yes, early 40s, around 42 for me. Can be made more traumatic for those not having done a lot of introspection up to that point - know thyself, it'll help get through it.
