If I have a lease, with 2 names on it, and i want someones name off of it, can i do that even if lease isnt up

my friend and i are on a lease together, we still have about a year left, but they are not holding up their end of the bargain on ANYTHING..so i want them off...is this possible, where i can still be on the lease and stay where I live?

Lease is a legal document and you can't change it, without all parties agreeing to the change. The other alternative is a court order.

talk to person who rented u the place see what they say..
