On the tales of phantasia game for nintendo gameboy, where do you get the sorcerer's ring?

I'm on the 5th level of morlia mineshaft and i know where the button is but i can't reach it and i heard you need the sorcerer's ring.

i forgot what is the name of the place but I know that that area have a fire and magma.. It is located in the cave were you can find efreet
