India is a big country. You need to specify what part of India you are going to to find out what the weather will be like. It varies drastically between different regions.

Around this Time, most of the parts in India are under Rainfall. In most of the hilly regions and in Southern States+Mumbai and some more Western Ghats areas,it rains quite heavily. There was severe waterlogging recently in some of these parts. This is not to say that there is no waterlogging in Delhi or other Northern States. Here in North too , it rains but it rains mostly once in 2-3 days. But when it rains , it varies from a Light shower to a Heavy Thundershower .And when it is not raining,it can be very Hot and Humid.
The only place where it might not ain or rain too little may be Thar Desert in Rajasthan or Very High reaches of Ladakh .
But Thar would be too hot and it just might be a "possibility" that you would be visiting Ladakh.

Of course, for more accurate predictions, you can always lookup BBC weather Forecast or ask people living in the area you want to visit in India .
