Yeahh! go dodger blue! Well, one reason you should is because you like blue and you live in LA! haha but aside from that Dodgers are the bomb man! Its like everywhere i go, i still see the Game Over sign with ex closer Eric Gagnes face on it.

Well I'm a Dodger fan, and I think the Dodgers are great. I don't especially like Grady Little or Ned Colleti but I really like the players. Russel Martin and Matt Kemp are my favorites. I think they're a really classy team and I know some really cool people that are Dodger fans. They have an incredible franchise history: Drysdale, Koufax, Pee Wee Reese, Jackie Robinson, etc. they live in LA which has got to be one of the most coolest places on earth and the players are hecka "players" :) I meant "players" as in they have lots of success with the oppossing sex. That's about as good a reason as any, lol. Let me give you a few examples.

Nomar is married to Mia Hamm who isn't bad-looking but we are just getting started here.

Russel Martin was named by "Extra" one of America's Top Bachelors.

Brett Tomko (Brett Tomko who is one of the worst players on the team) has a PLAYMATE wife

Brad Penny used to go out with Alyssa Milano (not sure if he still does)

Derek Lowe broke up with his wife to go out with Carolyn Hughes who is HOTT :]

And this is all I know but I could probably find more if I took a little time to research.

Also, you might want to start rooting for the Dodgers right now so people can't accuse you of jumping on the bandwagon when the Dodgers go on to win the NL Pennant and 2007 World Series!

P.S.: Oh and I forgot to mention the world-famous Dodger Dogs and the premium all-you-can-eat seats at the Dodger Stadium. Sorry!

First of all, the dodgers are having a better year. Although they lost J. D. Drew, they have many good hitters and good pitchers. For example, Brad Penny. He is one of the best pitchers in baseball. He also was in the 2007 All-Star game this year. I am not really a dodger fan but they are a good team to root for.

As a Dodger fan you get the listen to the best announcer in baseball -- Vin Scully.

The Dodgers are also the franchise that signed Jackie Robinson and broke baseball's modern day color barrier.

Just a couple good reasons.

I'd love to help you, but I am a Royals fan, so I am extremely unqualified to give someone a reason to root for a team. :0)

Although when I grew up, KC was actually a force in the American League. But now...........baby steps.

Seriously though, if you like the Dodgers, root for them. And honestly, I don't believe you have to pick just one team. Follow the Dodgers and Angels. They are in different leagues anyway.

the reasons you should be a Dodgers fan is
reason #1: Vin Scully
reason #2: Rich Tradition
reason #3: they are the Los Angeles baseball team.
you don't really need people to tell you why to like them. I like the Dodgers Because of Vin Scully and Eric Gagne. just keep watching the team and sooner or later you will be a huge fan like me.

I live 5 minutes from Pac Bell Park where the Giants play, but I have always been an A's fan because they have always played a more exciting brand of baseball with better players. My point is you just can't choose a team because you like the color or because your friends are all Dodger fans. You have to watch the games and the players and the style of ball they are playing to decide who you will root for.

You would become a fan of one of the greatest teams in the history of baseball, going all the way back to their days in Brooklyn. I have been a Dodgers fan since before they came to LA and had some of my best days, and nights, ever while at the most beautiful stadium in MLB, Dodger stadium. I was there when Koufax threw one of his four no hitters, when they clinched pennants, and when they celebrated playoff victories. It is a great franchise and you have selected the right team, one that will earn your loyalty.

What? You're an idiot. You must be one of those dudes that just roots for winners. Pick a team and stick with 'em.... Ok, sorry than. I'd say the Dodgers, even though I hate them. The National League is real baseball.

It does not matter what allegiance you want to have in being a sports fan. Pick the team and start watching them and building a serious interest around their history and present players.

I'm a "geographic" (live in SF) SF Giants fan, but am passionate about all sports and all teams because it's amazing what hell they had to go through (even the super talented players) in order to make it to the big leagues.
