Las Vegas would be a good place to put an MLB team in. However i don't know if season tickets would be in the high range, since there is so much tourism. Betting might get out of hand, but it was WAshington or Vegas for the Expos, maybe Vegas is next.

There are no obvious candidates for another major league city. Washington was the lone good candidate of the last few years, and that's now taken. Portland seems a little small, Las Vegas a little warm.

I used to think a football team could make it almost anywhere, as it is not so hard to sell 80,000 seats eight times a year. I'm not so sure about that anymore, as the smaller cities are having trouble keeping up with Dallas, Washington, etc., in terms of revenues (luxury boxes, sponsorships, etc.) Los Angeles is the obvious opening for an NFL team; it probably could support two teams. Toronto probably could support an NFL team quite well.
