I cant pick between an xbox or a ps3

Sony's PlayStation 3 has more power, offers better graphics potential and has state-of-the-art gaming capabilities. It also has Blu-ray, Wi-Fi, HDMI output, etc. all built-in to the console. The PlayStation Network online community should, with time, rival Xbox LIVE, and it's free! PlayStation Home is just a few months away... And, it's as much a computer as it is a games console, with options for installing Linux, using a keyboard & mouse for input, browsing the Web, etc...
Microsoft's XBOX 360 is still an awesome console, with a large online user base established via Xbox LIVE, and a varied range of impressive games to choose from. The XBOX 360 Elite is the best value package (if it's available in your country!) But, you should consider the additional cost for add-ons (HD-DVD, Wi-Fi, etc.) and Xbox LIVE fees, also the 33% failure rate of XBOX 360 consoles (compared to PS3's 1%) & all the hassles that go with getting it repaired / replaced...

Speaking from a technical point of view, the PS3 is superior than the Xbox 360.
The PS3's hardware is better than that of the Xbox 360, and its discs can hold up to 50GB (or so) of Data, whilst an HD DVD can hold only 8GB.
However, the PS3 is Software deficient, and is losing exclusives practically everyday (such are Assassin's Creed, GTA IV, Virtua Fighter 5, Devil May Cry 4 and possibly Metal Gear Solid 4). On the other hand, the Xbox 360 has several excellent exclusives (Crackdown, Saints Row, Gears of War, Dead Rising), very good online support and is cheaper.
In my opinion, right now, the Xbox 360 is the best option. The PS3 seems to be getting on its feet, but if you want to play great games this Summer, you're better off with the 360.

For price value, PS3 wins
PS3: $500 (console) + $100 (120 gb HDD) + $50 (HMDI cables) = $650
Xbox 360: $480 (elite) + $20 (charge and play kit) + $200 (HD-DVD player) + $100 (wifi adapter) = $800 + $50/year for XBL
Features still missing from the 360: the ability to play games off HD-DVDs, Processing power and other technical specs, built-in card reader, more than a handful of great games, a promising future with innovative features like Home.

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune

SOCOM: Confrontation
Heavenly Sword
And Many more (too many to name them all offhand)
I could talk about this all day, but I will stop here. The PS3 is the superior system and the tide is finally starting to turn as more and more great games come out, highlited by E3. Get a PS3 and you won't be kicking yourself in five months (or less) for not getting one.

XBOX 360 all the way!!. I own a wii, ps3 and xbox 360.. i have actually just sole the ps3 as it was rubbish games were turd. nothing coming out for it i like the look of plus anything there is is been ported to 360.
360 has MILES better online play and community.
blu ray isnt worth it really as it didnt make the the film any better in fact it made it more distracting especially with facial marks like wrinkles and stuff.
get a xbox 360 :)

I would go with the 360 for many reasons which include: lower price but still really good games, xbox live the best online feature ever,the graphics are just as good as the ps3, and many more

Get a 360, the graphics are miles better. The only 'big thing' with a PS3 is the new disc reader but if you get a DVD for PS3 they're like 20-25 quid. 360 is well worth it in my opinion, I bought one a few months ago and it's great!

u can use a headset to talk to anyone if u have xbox live
great graphics and it cost less then the ps3

go for the ps3. the graphics are better than a 360. plus online play is free. you can also talk to your mates while you shoot 'em to death! it is well worth £400. also 80 percent of 360 consoles sold in the UK have crashed within 1 year of purchase and connot be repaired.

get a 360 theyre cheaper and they have more games + its microsoft
