i am starting to think there should be no more political parties in the united states. Because everything is becoming too partisan, and , in my opinion, the only way we can get things done is if we work together in a bipartisan government. so, no more political parties, also because elections are becoming crooked, with many people realy not paying attention to where the candidate stands on the issues, and just voting for him/her because he/she is a .."good ol' republican."

Well you tried to 'appear' unbiased , but the last line gave you away .
Now it appears that you only want to do away with political parties because you want to get rid of republicans . But even if not , then think about this . Republicans is only a word . But people of like-minded beliefs naturally gather together to support each other , whether they be Democrats or Republicans . And people generally vote for someone with like-minded beliefs . So , I don't see a problem there .
Perhaps if you asked "Do you want to get rid of government corruption " .... . then you'd be on the right track .

It does no good unless you can take the big money sources out from behind a candidate. If a corporation or a union can throw large amounts of cash behind someone, what does it mean if they don't list the "D" or "R" behind their names? Do you think a group like the California Teachers Association needs to see the "D" in order to start writing checks? Does Exxon need to have a Republican Party card to dip into its PAC money? NO! Stripping the letter is an exercise in futility.
Give each viable National candidate (I would say if they are on every states' ballots then they are viable) 30 million in total income that they can spend in the campaign and no more. Do this with complete accounting for every dollar used. If you're caught spending more or if someone is suddenly buying you airtime out of the goodness of their heart, you could be booted from the race. If you're syphoning that money for your dream home, you go to prison.

Partisanship is part of the democratic process. The Founding Fathers tried to not have parties, but they developed within the first four years of the passing of the Constitution.
Political groups are always going to form in a democracy because certain people are naturally going to agree with each other and unite to advance their beliefs. The only way you eliminate parties is if you eliminate the ability to believe in something and work with others to implement it.

People will always form idealogical groups concerning politics. And you can't just abolish or outlaw political parties, they are too deep seated. Face it: elections are a popularity contest. While in theory they seem fair to select the best leader, as you pointed out leadership qualifications are not voted on. The majority of voters vote on party lines, sorry, that's the way it is. People are stupid and fickle, and in this day and age of media it's easy to mislead them into believing anything.

If your could accomplish it, I will consider it a miracle. Some of the founding fathers were opposed to political parties. I do not see how they could be legally eliminated.
Sometimes getting nothing done is a good thing. They did not get done the immigration reform bill. If we did not get done McCain-Feingold law, we would be better off.

As long as he/she is a republican.
Let's elect hillary and let another clinton make a joke out of the whitehouse.
But seriously, I think you are on to a good plan.
