me and my fiance had sex twice. i'm on birth control and we used a condom both times. one time was march 25th, and the other was april 18. i've been really scared that i might be pregnant because my periods have came on the day they were expected, but have only lasted for 2 days so i went and got a pregnancy test at my local health department about 3 weeks and 5 days ago. it came back negative. the nurse told me if i don't get my period on the next day i'm supposed to, then come back and get another one done. it came on july 4th and only lasted for 4 days. all my periods have been heavy enough to fill up tampons and pads. i called my doctor and told him everything, and he said it was normal & not to worry about it. but i was just wondering, what do you think?

You sound like you were sensible and cautious, and there's nothing to worry about. Periods do get lighter and shorter for no real reason. Stop working yourself up. You're okay.

If u were pregnant, ur period wouldnt b so heavy. Ur uterus would need most of that to begin to sustain a child. Ur fine, ur fine. Probably the bc. Its known to shorten periods, at least mine did.

Ps. ur doctor said so!

Who are you going to trust, your doctor who knows you and
your inside as well as you do.or a dozen or so strangers who have never met you,and don't know anything about you except what wrote about yourself? Okay, You're sacred. You have some right to be. But if you cann't trust your own doctor,
regarding a medical matter, who can you trust!?

If it isn't normal, you might need an exam or tests to rule out cancer or other conditions. My best friend in high school had uterine cancer that mimicked pregnancy for months, but intimacy with her b/f became bloody, and her uterus was found to be filled with tumors. It wouldn't hurt to be checked. When was your last PAP test/pelvic exam?

i would say you are not pregnant since you have had a few periods since then. get an at home test from the pharmacy and test yourself again just to be sure.
