how did u tell your mom that u had your first period? just curious.

hey i did the same thing i hid it and then i started crying and then i told my mom.

I told my aunt. I just said'I think i got my period" and she just said that she would take me to the store and she bought me pads and tampons to see which one i wanted to use.
I`m way closer to my aunt then i am to my mom.

there is a TON of ways
1*say mom i need pads and walk away
2*say mom i started my period and i dont want to make a big deal out of it
3*mom i started my period could you please get the stuff i need for it without making a big deal out of it?
4*hey mom i just started my period and i dont really want to talk about it can you get me the stuff i need please?
5*mom, i need stuff for my period, could you please help me?

I got my first period while at school in the 5th grade...so she found out through my school nurse.

actually, i didn't. i asked to borrow a few dollars and i went to the store to get pads. she figured it out. i was so embarrassed. i didn't know what to tell her.

wow..i was at a sleepover and i got my 1st...well the next day when she picked me up i was afraid to tell her..than i started crying and she was lyke wat happened and i said "i think i got my period".
