They are not all the same. Many are inexpensive, but they are larger and made of less durable components. Many have different features, some of which can be found in the first link below. You may want to do some Internet searches and find one that is cheap, simple, but is also fast in reading and writing data.
I have an OCZ Rally 2 (many review sites have the 1st gen model, not 2nd, which is faster). It's small, sleek, and very fast. And cheap at Newegg. Not the cheapest, but very nice bang for your buck.

They Are All The Same. You Dont Have To Worry About Speed and Stabablity, because there all based around each other.
You Pay For The Storage, The Looks, and The Maker (Company Name)
You should be looking to spend something like £15 Max.
Something Like this would be perfect: http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/117000
Because 'Pens' Dont Have Specs' And Preformance.
Good Luck !

you can find a 1g for like $10 now days at most places
it's just a little hard drive so there is no "better" unless you are looking for certain features like the fingerprint scanners and such
somtimes they die after a month (and you hope you save the reciept for warrety)
othertimes they can last forever...
it's all a gamble

I have a Lexar JumpDrive SecureII and it works great. I haven't had any problems at all. I carry it on my keychain and have had it for over a year.

I suggest checking ebay. Your brand isn't going to matter so much as price. You can also check out Newegg.com. A lot of times if you need to upgrade a component they offer free drives as incentives.
