No.
The input for the laptop come straight off the video chipset and up though a flex cable to the laptop. There is no way to get access to those signals to put external ones on there, and even if you did have access to them those signals are incompatible with any of the external monitor signal standards.
About the best you could do is an external video capture device. But that is going to be limited to 640 by 480 resolution, and you would need to get composite video out of the other device.
Compared to external monitors, the laptop screens are fairly poor. You will get a much better picture from an external monitor anyway.

Not without an input adapter. You might be able to do it with the RGB connector (the one used for an external monitor). ~
Worth a try. The laptop would still have to be powered up for the display.

I just came across a site that sends you a laptop for free! I'm ordering mine right now, it's a Sony VAIO and it looks really hot!

you would need a video input or a pcmia capture card. I would try something like this http://sewelldirect.com/TV-Tuner-Video-Capture-Card-PCMCIA.asp
BUT only if you have the pcmia slot in your laptop.
most have them now a days. They are like a rectangular hole that usually has a cover and little switch that you can click up and down.
