a note about the recently arrested Florida republican Bob Allen:

First elected in 2000, Allen is the chairman of the House Committee on Energy. He received the Rainbow Democratic Club of Orlando's worst possible rating.
In March, he co-sponsored HB269, the Lewdness and Indecent Exposure Bill, which proposed enhanced penalties for "offenses involving unnatural and lascivious acts or exposure or exhibition of sexual organs committed within specified distance of certain locations." The bill never made it to a vote.

It's not another example of Republican hypocrisy (Maybe you can learn to spell correctly before going ahead and being critical of others) Anyway...while if he is indeed guilty of this charge, which seems very likely, HE will be the Hypocrite. Get off your high biased liberal horse. This type of hypocrisy happens on both sides of the isle.

Of course he got the worst possible rating from a liberal organization, the man is a conservative. Do you think Nancy Pelosi got anything but the worst possible marks from any decidedly conservative groups?

Conservative politicians can often be their own worst enemies when they try to legislate morality and Bob Allen certainly has done it to himself here. This is an individual act not an act of the entire party. The dems are just as guilty so maybe next time you'll think about it a little more but I figure you'll always be a partisan. Try getting past partisan politics and look at the individual, you'll get better results. I know the country in general can do better when they get past it, our two political parties just don't want it to happen.

I think the present government is bad
let s think fairly
first,do we have the right to have nuclear weapons and others not ?you may say we are a democratic country but you must know that Ahamadi Nejad elected and choosed by the iranian people(NB we are not sure if the president Bush desereved to be a president or not ,do you remeber the votes of the last state)
second: we are a democratic country but we hit Japan with 2 nuclear bombs at the end of the war without the need to do this (Japan was going to surrender)and we donot know if any japanese generation in the future may take revenege or not.
third:we allow some other countries to have nuclear weapond and help them like INDIA and ISRAEL WHICH is dangerous on the world peace and flaming wars from time to time (it is a reason of the hatred of many nations to usa)
forth:we have a very bad foreign policy against many countries like Cuba,Venezuela, middle east, north korea.,do you think if we have a fair normal diplomatic relation with these countries including iran ,does anyone of the world would attack us ?look at Canada ,it has a good realtions with all nations ,there is no terrorrism against it
fifth:we always attack others which makes them going to the steps of revenge.so if we stop shaking Iran regime ,do you think iranians and they know well that we are the strong power ,may attack us??

sixth: dealing with the iraq was is the worst .prisons of Abou ghareb ,killing citizens ,and many things which make others plans for revenge.

at the time of the second world war ,all countries of world and nations was looking up to USA ,now with the wrong decisions ,supporting some dictators, bad forign relations with many countries .the situation is difficult and there must be a change in the US policy

I don't know Bob Allen, but was he accused of an offense of this type?

I assume so, therefore the answer to your question is YES.

I hate all hypocrites, regardless of party affiliation, so what exactly is your point. Both sides have an equal number of "do what I say, not what I do, and oh, by the way, give me your money" people.

If he is a Republican, he cannot be chairman of a committee. If the democrats are against him, that is a good thing.

How does your complaint amount to hypocrisy? The Democrats are running the House of Representatives. Republicans cannot introduce bills. Nancy won't let them.

You misspelled hypocrisy.

Hypocrisy crosses party lines. However, why don't you let the guy stand trial before you assume he's guilty as charged. You'd ask the same for a Democrat.
