I find it quite hillarious that every 2-3 months that you guys/girls have to go out and buy the new edition of the console. For xbox 360 owners: first it was the core system - then that went to the Premium system - then that went to the Elite system. LOL
For PS3 owners: first it was the 20GB model - then that went to the 60GB model - now thats going to the 80GB model. I'm sorry but i just find that funny as hell that you people have to keep buying new systems to keep up with the new features. You don't see the Nintendo Wii doing that. Next it will be the Xbox 360 Ultimate with HDMI 1.3 and a 500GB HDD with motion sensing and 65nm chip. LOL. And for the PS3 it will be a 100GB HDD with a controller that has rumble and built in BluRay/HDDVD player. LOL. i just find it funny to give a console 3-5 revisions within a year. So my question is, how does it feel? LOL

They dont do that with their consoles because they are spending to much time putting out 50 different versions of the Game Bay Advance and Nintendo DS.

For a year almost every 360 owner has slammed the ps3. Like you said now the ps3 has some fire power so the 360 owners have little to say yet when the ps3 was difficult to find prior to Christmas 06 and game releases were slow the 360 owners literally proclaimed the 360 the king of the hill and ps3 dead in the water. Questions like which system is better 8 months ago recieved 9 out of ten "ps3 sucks get a 360 more games" Well the ps3 owners become educated and responded with facts. We own all the systems and they are all great systems and it will only be when people enjoy what they selected and stop worrying about which system sold the most will the slamming of both systems stop. Frankly the 360 owners at least on answers have been extremely aggressive about slamming the ps3. Websites also present a very biased opinion many of them pro xbox and totally disregarding the true potential of both systems. Competition is good between the two systems , it forces Microsoft and Sony to produce better and better systems. But frankly who cares if your buddy has the 360 and you have the ps3 ...Go to each others homes and exploit the best of both systems. Edit--- Last longest? - xbox 360 outselling? ---Take 33% off the total number of 360s sold to reflect all the 360s replaced due to RROD. Then take another 7% off to reflect all those 360 owners running out and buying the elite or Halo special edition, so the actual number of different households that own a 360 would be a number to gage the success after it's already been out for 2 years including 2 holiday shopping seasons and entering it's third. When you factor all that in the 360 is a huge financial burden for Microsoft. Since Bungie the maker of HALO series has officially left the exclusive contract with microsoft and will now be creating games for all the systems microsoft better Beware cause other game production companies are following suit because the 360 is far to limiting. ANd you say you are not a FANBOY

Speaking as a PS3 owner;
the 60GB and 20GB models were both available from the start (in the US, only the 60GB in europe)
the harddrive is a standard design and can be replaced quite easily. (e.g. if you had a 20GB and it was getting full, you could swap it out yourself rather than buying a new machine)
personally i buy new controllers periodically, so that wont be an issue.
so how do i feel, fine!
As opposed to someone's who's bought a marginally souped-up Gamecube with a gimmicky controller and a couple of half-decent games, hmmm.

all those ps3 and xbox 360 arent differnet consoles theya ll just have different amounts of memory so what your saying doesent make sense because i doubt someone who bought a 20gb ps3 is going to go out an buy a 60 gb when they could just buy a memory card, that and the 60gb and 20 gb came out at the same time and one was lower in price than the other.

xbox aint so bad as you can detach HDD and get another one, or memory stick for £20 ($35)
but that must suck for ps3 owners, what would you puton 100GB tho, thats more than a lot of computers.
Isnt that just asking for piracy??
And the Elite isnt really a revision, it only contains a faster core chip and is black, less acessories i guess.
the wii is beast value tho, although the crappy grafix it is alright.
