well Sherrill Milnes was (is) incredible
I am a Roy Orbison freak. I sing 18 of his hits myself. For three years in the height of the Beatles he out sold them. Watch the video - Roy Orbison & Friends/A Black n White Night
Ozzy in his prime, Meatloaf in his, Whitney Houston in hers, Ella Fitzgerald, Sinatra, Jean Shepard, Johnny Cash just got voted the #1 country performer of all time. I was not a country fan till his I've Been Everywhere hot hit the charts.
I like Josh Logan, Norah Jones, Celine of course, Tony Bennet is like fine wine. Bing Crosby ruled long ago.
But Orbison was a stadium filling freak. He opened once for the Beatles. They had to wait for his 14 oncores to be done as the fans stood on their feet and screamed.
Listen to It's Over. It numbs you when he sings the final line.
When I sing his stuff rooms stop. Young people come up asking where those songs came from.
And, the number one most covered male pop hit ever is - Pretty Woman. Hundreds of singers have recorded it.

suitable decrease back indoors the 80's i'd have suggested it replaced into Samantha Fox, via way of actuality, suitable, i replaced suitable right into a 19 3 hundred and sixty 5 days guy with MTV mutually as her music "touch me" have been given right here out. yet that replaced into extra effective of a seen stimulation ingredient than somewhat liking her making a music. i don't be responsive to that I also have a favorite female singer. Does Alice Cooper count variety variety?
