The KEG, in downtown Ft. Worth! The food is wonderful the atmosphere is perfect for a quiet, romantic dinner! The food...it is absolutely some of the best I've ever tasted!
The dress is somewhat formal. However, I have been there with new jeans with a cute sweater and they had no problems with my attire. Most there do dress more for the occasion though.
If you love lobster, they have the biggest I have ever seen and the chef is awesome! The steaks are some of the best you can buy!
You will need to call and make reservations and be sure to tell them what the occasion is as they will seat you in a more private area!
Now, if you want Italian food that melts in your mouth....go to The Oar House, located on interstate 30, on Lake Ray Hubbard.
They are pricey but, they are NO DOUBT the very best in dining and ambience! You can choose to eat indoors or, outdoors! It is beautiful and has that OLD Italy feel! They have live music but, it is very appropriate for your kind of celebration. ... If you like seafood, you've got to try the crab claws in garlic/butter sauce! They are the very best you can find in the DFW area....my opinion, of course!
Okay, you have the two that I think would be best for an anniversary. Have fun and congratulations!

In the Addison strip on the main restaurant row (Belt Line Rd) there is a posh steak house named "Chamberlain's" that is superb and excellent service ---- it is a dinner and night to remember .... I go there when I can get away from Mexico --- but I did live in Dallas for years and I always had nice times at that restaurant ---- impeccable is the one word to describe the place

The place on top of Bank One in Fort Worth was Reata, and it was destroyed by the tornado in 2000. However, Reata reopened at a fantastic new location in the heart of Sundance Square, and I would definitely recommend it. Great food, great Fort Worth atmosphere. Also in downtown Fort Worth, I recommend Del Frisco. Expensive, but worth it.

If you like seafood, and great atmosphere try the Oceaniare (it's by the Galleria Mall) but be prepared to pay. They have a great oyster bar!

The Melting Pot would be perfect. Intimate, yet fun. Full bar, too. I loved it. Besides, whats more romantic than fondue?

Del Frisco's, if you like steaks.
You have to get the shrimp appetizer or crabcakes.
Pricey, but definitely worth it.
