Rap Haters?

well ignorin you all didnt work, i just gotta ask; What enjoyment do you get from going into a music section that you know nothing about, or even listen to , and post ignorant comments and ignorant questions? Most of you who claim to not like rap spend more time in this section than anywhere else..I mean all the time you spend hatin you could be looking at questions about music you enjoy.

1.)Women need to respect themselves to be respected for who they are...same goes for men

2.)Alot of rappers grow up poor, doin what they have to do to put food on the table, so money DOES bring lifelong happiness for some of these rappers.

3.)This just sounds like your stereotyping rappers.

4.)who are you to dictate what someone has/or hasnt't gone through?

I agree with you 100% when you say that people waste more time in this section bashing rap, whiles they can go into another section that they would like.

Me personally, I like most rap, not all rap. It's not the same as 10 years ago I will admit, however I see it's pointless to complain about something that someone dosen't have knowledge to what so ever. It's like if I went into the rock, pop, and country section (I do listen to these genres also sometimes) and ***** about it being wack, I would be reported asap.

And yes, if a woman or man is being degrated it's because that's what they chose to do with themselves. It has nothing to do with the genre as a whole, just what........a song or two, and because of the decision that people makes, a whole genre shouldnt be penalized for one's actions.

i totally agree with you! but here's my thing, i LOVE rap because of the beat, and the slick lines. a lot of ppl may have said something about how it degrades women, all about gangs, drugs, violence, etc.... you can't judge rap if you only listened to one or two songs, it's not all about that. i love it all. and for the dude that said "what don't white ppl hate" i'm white and rap is all i listen to, so once again, you can't stereo type by one or two, so quit tryin. for all the ppl that come in here saying bad sh*t about rap, here's my opinion, you can't make your music*country, rock, metal, whatever* look better by putting other music down. it just don't work like that

Agree with you. LOL.. are you serious Sarge927 or whatever your name is. Bump loud rap music.. there are also people that spend money on systems and bump rock, country, etc. Its not just a rap thing. Grow up!

It een jus that they hatin' on rap, it's that they wouldnt want ppl to hate on their prefered genre. and the argument that rap is vulgar isn't a good one because there is some gospel rap and other artists that rap about their life and how hard it was for them.

music is a very personal experience, every one has that song that makes them laugh, cry, or move. what kind of music you like is up to you and its not your place to tell anyone that they are wrong for liking something else. i listen to rap because i can identify with it, and have lived in a lifestyle that identifies with it, i dont listen to rap because its "cool"
if you dont like rap music thats fine its not for me to tell you you should, but dont come and belittle my choices in music, who are any of you to do that? i dont like country music but i dont tell people who listen to country music that theyre stupid and should listen to rap. if you dont like it dont listen to it thats your choice, but dont get on yahoo f*uckin answers and start talkin s*hit. dont go around tellin people theyre stupid cuz they like rap, for two reasons, 1. its not your fuc*in place 2. just cuz the people who make the music dont live the way they talk in songs, alot of us who listen to it do, and the last thing you wanna do is tell a young gangsta n*gga to turn his radio down cuz we dont give a **** about you and youre liable to get fu*ked up. I respect the talents of a few rap artists out here- you can't deny there genius, but I do not respect what they are doing to the people of our Society, especially the minorities. What they sing about is ridiculous, they totally abuse their opportunity.

1) Women need to be respected for who they are.

2) Money does not bring happiness after you have it for a season. You'll eventually grow tired of it.

3) Shooting someone will ruin your life, not give you lifelong respect.

4) Just lies.

I used to listen to rap, but I gave it up because of the direction it is going. They truly need to get their selfish acts together, and use there talents for good. Not stupidity and foolishness.

Thank you. These are internet tough guys, and for some reason, just look for something to complain about or bash. "No talent to rap....BLAH,BLAH,BLAH" and then they post it on the hip hop forum. These people just want attention. Its sad. Im just going to stop answering to them, maybe they will just go away.
