Beaches, hands down. Certain times of certain months I rent this movie, buy a box of tissues, get a pint (or two) of Ben & Jerry's Chunky Monkey and sit down for a good old fashioned tear fest. It's the perfect bawl movie.
I only recently found out my dad had a sappy tearjerker movie. It's called 'Brian's Song' about football player Brian Piccolo. My mother saw a preview for this a few weeks ago and told my sister and I, "this is the only movie I know of that made your father cry." I haven't seen it yet, but I think I may rent it.

"The Sound of Music"
There's enough sap in the film to fill a pine-wood forest. Even Christopher Plummer, the actor who played Mr. Von Trapp hated the movie because of its sappy melodrama.
However, this movie is a favorite of my family because we are distantly related to the Von Trapp family.

I'd have to say either "Good Will Hunting" or "Meet Joe Black".
