"This is not only the race question, but a leadership, character question," Sharpton said. "Much of America knows Rudy Giuliani from 9/11. They need to know him from 9/10 ... how he polarized the biggest city in the world and how he ran it like a fiefdom."

I am a New Yorker and I KNOW what my City was like before 9/11 and across the board most people were extremely dissatisfied with Guiliani, they felt as if he made NY a police state. I mean EVERYONE, no matter what race religion or political affliation. It was a New York thing not a political thing, after all, we also ripped Dinkins a new one when he screwed up too.

I give him props for 9/11 BUT I believe that ANYONE elected to that post would have done the same.

Henry L, please do NOT ever put MLK and Sharpton in the same sentence. He is not representative of Black people at all. The media labelled him as a leader of Black people, but I swear other races listen to what he has to say more than Black people do. We know better than to take a guy with a perm seriously.. LOL

i'm surprised that the holier than God Itself Republicans can help a classless adulterer like Giuliani after the fuss they made approximately invoice Clinton. the considered thought in public debate might desire to be lifeless. rude Rudy delivered his mistress to Gracie mansion and boffed her in the mattress next to his daughter's room. If the blue gown incident became into so undesirable, how can the GOP countenance a candidate who became into many times and shamelessly untrue? I doubt the liberals are worried by utilising Giuliani. they might desire to be licking their chops and arranged for a splash payback. Even have been he morally perfect, what has the guy executed to instruct his wellbeing for the activity? formerly 9/11 he became right into a discredited mayor who became into not reelectable in his very own city. devoid of Osama, he could be no one at present. If he does get the nomination he will probable get to run against Clinton, who he became into reluctant to challenge for the Senate. Irony is a great form of relaxing.

Let's see, cleaning up crime in NYC was a bad thing, eh? Given Al's "constituency" I guess that makes sense. Al will have to do a lot more than lose weight to take on Rudy. In a battle of wits, Al is unarmed. That discussion would be similar to the one the other day between liberal megaphone Helen Thomas and The President. One sided.

Sharpton is a feeble minded individual.

No candidate should give a rats behind about what he says.

That quote came from a man who polarized the races in a rape case that was a lie from the beginning and still hasn't apologized yet?

I have no words for the hypocrisy!

Why does Sharpton have to say it is not a race issue, everything to him is hate whitey. I would never vote for a racist like Sharpton.

Guliani should be scared that the truth us NYC'ers already know comes out about him. He doesn't need to worry about Sharpton for that to happen because it will with or without Reverend Al.

You Go, Reverend Al! All six million of us NY liberals got your back!
