I started working at Dunkin's Donuts for about 3 days but so far I'm thinking that this is not the job for me. Its obviously a fast-paced job and I can't handle it mentally. I'm in training right now and I'm not sure if I'm able to tell the manager if I can quit. And I'm not sure if I can quit during my training. If I can, what is a nice way to tell him that I want to quit the job even though its too early.

Tell your manager right away.
They will be much happier if they don't have to spend more money on someone who isn't cut out for food service.

Talk to your manager and give the proper notice (they might just let you go anyway) - but it's still the right thing to do. You don't want to get the reputation as being someone who just didn't show up. Employers appreciate that you are honest with them. Tell them it's just not the type work you like. Make sure you've given it enough time, things might be different if you let yourself get used to the job.

I have had two children and I never experienced it with my first child, but I did with my second. I was so excited to have lost my plug thinking that it actually meant something like labor, but I was so wrong. My doctor at the time told me that it could be my mucous plug or because of all the hormones my body was producing it resulted in this nasty discharge. To be honest I experienced the same kind of discharge while I was on the Mirena IUD, so I think that is has a lot to do with your hormones. Oh yeah, obviously you have nothing to worry about and good luck with the baby and delivery.

Training and learning something new is always stressful and seems fast paced. Give yourself a few weeks to settle into the job and get comfortable with it, then see how you feel. Things will get better in time, and with practice, this is how it is when you start all jobs. Good luck

If you want to quit then just tell your manager this isn't working for you. They can't make you stay at a job you don't like no matter how long you've been there!

Its obvious you don't care for your present position.

Suggestion: Find another job - a job you think you'll like - then give proper notice to your present manager. He/She may let you go on the spot, but you'll KNOW you did the right thing - or tried doing the right thing.

I wish you well.

Ron B.
