If a-rod is a smart baseball player he will stay with the yankees.

I think it'd be great to see ARod on another A.L. team, hitting a walkoff homer to beat the Yanks at Yankees Stadium and giving a subtle tip of the cap to the fans who hate him so much as he left the field. However, there's not many teams that can afford that sick salary. There's the rumors of the Sox or Angels going after him, but I'll lean my bet towards him staying with the Yanks right now. It's good for him to keep quiet about it and stay in control of his future contract.

the yankees are the only team that could pay whatever arod wants... so it will be interesting how this thing happens coz if arod would not sign b4 free agency, the yanks would not negotiate with the bidding...

Not likely, I think he'll go somewhere he can finish his career as the #1 guy and do it somewhere he has a little more control over his off the field life. Kinda like what Bonds' situation in S.F.

I think he will be but Im hoping that he opts out. If he does I think the Yankess will lose him to the Angels. I know Arte will do whatever it would takes to land A-Rod.

Go Angels...
