Because those people only see America in terms of the potential damage her military can inflict on those who disagree with the American way of life.

They've lost sight of the purpose of our military, and the job description of our President.

They don't realize that the President of the United States is nothing more than a public servant - HE SERVES US. They think we are answerable to him, when, in fact, HE is answerable to US.

They refuse to make him accountable for anything he does, and in the process, they are killing our Constitution in the name of "national security."

It's disgusting. THEY are the cowards, giving up their liberty little by little for the farcical feeling of safety Bush gives them by telling them he's keeping them safe.

They use this crap because it appears to work wonders in shutting people up from speaking the truth. Talk known facts about the Bush administration and you are called "anti American, anti patriot"..etc.. It's what they do because it works, and it's what they are told to say, mostly because they have no clue what to say on their own. Obviously the 25% of America that actually believes the BS from the White House out weighs the 75% of America that sees and knows the truth and are strong enough to speak it. What they say in response to the truth is a given chat point that they are told works and so they use it hoping it will silence the facts." Rational conservative" isn't that an oxymoron? If conservatives had their way women wouldn't vote, and this country would have one belief, theirs. This country was founded on freedom from forced bible BS, and Government control..and only the factually challenged would view it any other way. Our Gov. is supposed to be GOVERNED BY THE PEOPLE, FOR THE PEOPLE, NOT FOR THE CURRENT PRES.(, not those who steal elections)! The trouble is some can't admit when they are wrong. Ignorance in this country gets in the way of fact(s) a lot, doesn't it.

Some people apparantly believe that to be a Patriotic American you should tow the line and support the President unquestionably!?!

I wish ....I really wish we had a President who was genuine enough to deserve that unwavering support!!!

#1) The privatization of oil markets, that is included in the 18 benchmarks Bush wants the Iraqi government to adhere to, makes it quite obvious that this war was about the future control and financial windfall benefit for Big Oil!!!

#2) The U.S. use of torture.

#3) The U.S. government's illegal wiretapping
program.

#4) NSPD 51 & HSPD 20.

#5) The still unanswered question of whether a CIA officer's was outed by the White House.

#6) The Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America, The NAFTA Superhighway, BOTH making way for the North American Union!

All of these things listed make it impossible for me to believe in this President or his administration!!

I believe in the constitution...you know that "God D@mn piece of paper" GW Bush referred to!!

How sad that we have such an opportunity to lead the world honorably and we are throwing it away for the greed of economic globalization!!

Will history ever stop repeating itself?

I'm not sure I really understand your question or your points, but I will say that, as far as I'm concerned, I do appreciate listening to any viewpoint and value debate over issues that affect all of us Americans. I don't think of most viewpoints as America-bashing. I am a conservative, in that I believe in fiscal and governmental accountability, smaller government and greater emphasis on personal responsibility. I do not now, and never have believed that our Idiot King is a Republican, and I do not believe that his supporters are true Republicans.

That said, were we to truly achieve success in Iraq -- and by that I mean withdrawing from a STABLE, SELF-SUSTAINING government coalition -- I would, indeed, call that a victory. But that STILL would not have anything to do with our "war on terror," or justice for 9/11.

Hope that (sort of) answers your question...

President Obama does not hate united states of america of america. it truly is an particularly stable place and should not be tossed around casually. Why would he choose to be the chief of a united states that he hates? does not make sense. Obama's mindset to foreign places family members is one hundred eighty levels distinctive from the Bush administration. He knows that the U.S. is not the international's lone great ability, and as such we can not in basic terms impose "americas ultimate interest" at something of the international by using militia or financial rigidity. the final long-term plan for united states of america of america to thrive and prosper is to paintings alongside with the different important gamers on the international scene (china, russia, india, europe, etc..) as a results of fact in elementary terms whilst the international economy grows does united states of america of america's economy improve.

Lets see here, you have indicated that you do not support our elected leaders, you have a defeatist attitude and are willing to abandon the sacrafices and efforts of our troops overseas, and you resort to name calling against anyone who disagrees with your point of view. Reread your question as if you hadnt read in and substitute democrat or liberal everywhere you put the word america or conservative and see if you dont think its a little hateful and venomous. Just because someone disagrees with you doesnt mean they are wrong. It just means they have a different perspective. Mine is based upon my advanced education, military and law enforcement experience, dabbling in politics, and many years of general life experience. Your perspective merely needs to age a bit, perhaps it will mellow.

It's your right to disagree with the war and the president. It's the name calling that I find childish, petty and despicable. Especially during a time of war. Our troops are laying their asses on the line as is their families, and for people to say that our troops are losers, terrorists, ignorant... That's just down right shameful. I don't agree with President Bush's amnesty bill, but I don't attack him and call him names over it. For once, I wish you Libs could bring ideals to the floor of debate instead of the name calling.

Because the last 15% of this country that supports the president are so uneducated and lonely, they believe what ever they are told, and need to belong to a group. And with their lack of education, the only group that wants people like that are the last few bushbots.
