Wait 2 or 3 weeks, then follow up with a brief and polite phone call or postcard asking for an interview. They are very busy, so a phone call is a bit of a gamble, and they might be short with you. Don't take it personally, and don't be pushy. Be polite, with the idea of simply establishing yourself in their minds. When you are working on a show, send them an invitation. Don't send gifts or anything silly-they hate that. It will most likely take a while to cultivate a relationship.
