Ive been really confused about this for a long time.
I wanted to know what major should I seek and what profession should I go for that could get me involved in the politcal world. Its one of the few things I have going for me, and something I can see myself truly enjoying. I'm not really looking to become a politcian, but i wanna become involved somehow.
Any thoughts would be great, thanks.

There are several branches of political science that you can get a degree in. Political theory, international relations, economics, etc.
I got my degree in international relations from UC San Diego and never had any regrets. I chose to become a naval officer and have spent the last six years stationed in places like Japan and Europe, but there are also jobs at the state department that will send you overseas, not to mention companies with global interests. There's really a lot you can do in political science. It's the field that makes the world go round, and it is also the field least understood by most people.

Study political science (sick of being told that yet? :-P) and/or volunteer at your political partys local headquarters. Or if you don't actually wanna get involved with a particular party, find an independent political organization that you like and ask them how you can get involved.
