Didn't hurt for me, but it does hurt for some women.

For most women yes because the hymen is being broken into for the first time but after a few times of doing it the pain should cease.

To me, it hurt a little bit. Make sure whoever you are planning to have sex with cares about you enough to go slow, and to stop if you want him to. You will get used to it...I promise. Make sure before he starts that you are wet...or it'll hurt worse.
