Very clever, profiling is an extension of PC that needs a look at as well. Silly that you have agents frisky 78 year olds from Wisconsin getting on planes so as not to offend the Saudi 25 year old next to her. Lets see, most terrorists are Middle Easterner males between the age of 16 and 40. Note, I said most, but doesn't it make more sense to look at these people more closely than elderly women??

We profile everyday. We decide who to talk to, who are children play with, etc. Profiling is just common sense. If you see suspicious behavior whether black, white, yellow, Christian, Muslim, etc. you automatically profile so you can give the police all the info you can. We need to be vigilant at all times and report suspicious people. It is not against the law to do your civic duty and report the facts as you know them. How terrible you would feel if something happened and you had the knowledge to stop it.

I don't think profiling is bad. When's the last time anyone was harmed by an elderly woman?
If 99% of terrorists are Islamic males then they're the ones we should be vigilant against. Anyone who refutes that is so deep in the PC mire that their brain has rotted.

Profiling is not illegal for the average citizen. Of course it is for police officers. Turn in those towel heads if you think something is up....

How about deciding for yourself? Personally, I would report suspicious people, regardless. If I am wrong, excellent! When it comes to safety, I am not interested in what "society" says.
