i have an acer aspire e380 and ive been trying to hook up my ps2 cause i have a sweet monitor, theres a little yellow jack in the back of my tower and i dont know what it is it looks a like the yellow av jack, is there anyway i can play through my monitor without buyin somthin?

What is it labeled?

I suspect that it is actually S/PDIF 7.1 audio output.


Component video in is unusual, and due to it's limitations in resolution and interlacing, would probably look pretty bad on a decent monitor anyway.

Yes, it sounds like it is a video jack. I have that one in my tower.
You should be able to play with any gadgets that you have the proper connections with and go through your monitor like you would go through your tv.

it's called video out, and it's so you can plug your computer into a tv... at least from you description that's what I would assume, although I thought they stopped making those and everything was an S-Video jack now, but hey what do I know... lol
