They have been mentioned in the press a lot lately. David Beckham is a famous soccer star, and is coming to the USA to play.
Victoria Beckham is a frowny-faced woman who always looks like she is angry, who used to be a spice girl.
I love soccer and think Beckham is a brilliant player, but I have no idea why there is so much hype about them.

Posh (Victoria (Adams) Beckham) Spice from the Spice Girls (Come on everyone knows them!) and he is David Beckham, one of the world's most famous athletes. Played for Manchester and Madrid and now coming to American for some ungodly amount of money to make soccer popular here, which is not going to happen. We have american football. If anything he'll go into acting or back to the EU when he realizes we're not trying to get interested in the world's most popular sport. The only reason I know as much as I do now is because I used to be/am a big fan of the Spice Girls and I think David Beckham is hott and am a big fan of E!, VH1, and ET. I know, its somewhat sad. I have a life, but when it gets boring the celebrities get interesting, lol.
If you're American and not a fan of soccer then I guess you wouldn't care. Google them for images. They're everywhere and its insane/annoying.

Beckham is one of the best soccer players and is now playing for the USA. To find pictures all you need to do is put the Beckhams in the Yahoo images search, oh and his wife is Posh Spice of the Spice Girls.

Go on Yahoo.com...theres an aarticle up front about them. David Beckham is a famous soccer player in London and he is married to one of the Spice Girls from the girl group. (Posh spice) Anyway, David is now on an LA soccer team instead and he was moving here today. Hes a great, popular player and shes a celeb b/c of her singing. Thats the big deal!

OMG only like theee hottest couple ever!! He's a Brittish soccer player who came to play in the Major League of Soccer (MLS) and is really hot and she just so happens to have been a Spice Girl and is beautiful beyond belief lol. And together with their children they make up the "Beckhams" lol.

Maybe you're too young but she is an ex Spice Girl (that probably means nothing to you and that's good). He is a great soccer player from England. Soccer is the best and most exciting sport in the planet and he's great at it. His wife was super famous for a while so they are like the Brangelina of England. They're disgustingly rich too.
So people impressed and interested by these kind of people are, well, impressed and interested now.
