I need help. My parents are having their 24 anniversary in Febuary and I want to suprise them.I am a college student and dont really know what adults like to do when it comes to this kind of stuff. any ideas or suggestion would help thanx

why dont you wait for their 25th anniversary and have a surprise party for them...

and its the silver anniversary year...

if you still want something special for this year you might want to get a cd together of songs that they liked to listen to together when they were dating, songs that will make them remember special moments

24 isn't the big one, 25 is, from an anniversary perspective. My wife I just celebrated our 21st yesterday. It would have been nice if either of my daughters would have at least remembered it. Just a congratulatory card is enough. If your in college your parents don't want or expect you to do anything extravagant.

In future years, take/send them to dinner or get them a gift certificate for a nice place to stay on a vacation. Something that they can do alone/together.

A gift certificate to a bed/breakfast inn close by.

A gift certificate to a nice eating establishment with dancing.

Maybe a cert. to dinner, movie, & dessert afterwards. Make it a package deal.

By the time parents reach this anniversary, they usally have pretty much all they need in the line of material things.
