I learned that Vlad Dracule (otherwise known as "Count Dracula") is not considered by the Romanian people as one of their most noteworthy kings. Further, much of his mystique comes more from the fact that his father's name means "The Devil", so in addition to his somewhat brutal political assassinations (quite common in those days) he was quite literally the son of "The Devil".
As a side note, it is really great to work for a very international company where one gets the opportunity to work with folks from all over the world. For example, the colleague from Romania that I had lunch with today.
