Why does my HP pavillion labtop shutdown on it's own?

Like I said it's a HP, and it will shut down if I do any type of downloading. I can't use Youtube or download any music!

Go to Control Panel and select Power Options. Under Power Schemes, select "Always On", then click Apply.

Change the settings later to "Portable/Laptop" when you are on batteries on the road.
