Casualty figures don't come into it, we didn't know how many casualties there would be (and neither did you). We paid the blood price..

So...we are quits?

ok, in an attempt to salve consciences i'm going to be happy to declare that the human beings got here previous through social gathering, yet their contribution became quiet useful in the downfall of the enemy. we ought to continuously by no skill overlook people who died in the conflict (Brit or Yank), yet, the 2nd worldwide conflict became greater advantageous than 3 generations in the past.! the money the human beings hence loaned us (in good purchase for determining to purchase and merchandising rights, which delivered approximately their own golden era of the Nineteen Fifties, 60s and early 70s) has finally been paid back, with interest. As a lot appreciate that I even have for usa, I actually have a tendency to overlook appropriate to the mewling catcalls from people who're below 60, and hence by no skill had any area of this conflict. analysis of the methods in place by making use of the Nazi conflict gadget might instruct that Hitler's reich had failed as early as 1942. without the human beings, the conflict might have taken a splash longer, many greater might have died, yet finally, victory could have been in the palms of the better ecu allies.

I will just say, that Britain was in the war before the USA was. We finally went to War after the Bombing of Pearl Harbor December 7, 1941.

I admire England a great deal.

No, England is not quits. They still help a lot.

Sorry, you feel so bitter. We have no bitterness towards Great Britain that I have heard of. So, I guess I am a little confused about your question.

Thanks, though.

I don't think so. Only Republicans think that. I hope you Brits pull out as soon as you can so even the dense Reps realize that this is coming to an end.
The Labour Party should've never supported the war in Iraq to begin with. There wasn't sufficient intelligence to justify an invasion. I've seen the Downing Street Memos about it. Such a move I'd expect from some of your other parties, but I'm disappointed in the Labour Party.

Um....we were supplying men and equipment to Britain as early as 1939. My father joined the RAF along with many other Americans. We were in the war from 41-45 so, I think your math skills are somewhat lacking.

But after the war we rebuilt them completely then forgave them the debt. We lost thousands of lives helping Britain. Not hardly the same.

You're the people with the car bombs all over the country. You pick. We could also take an interest in the tango the next time you want satellite photos of the Malvinas. Personally, I prefer the current arrangement.

America only entered the Second World War because they where bombed by the Japanese.America only helped to shorten the war.As for helping them out in this one,do you not remember Vietnam.America have no idea how to win a war by itself. They need Britain more than we need them.

Yes, we paid off the debt and finished it last year. Paid in cash, gold and inventions.
Let's see how many new inventions come from the states now!!
