Hurt the Democrats at the ballot box for the Presidential election, that is...

Not really. While it is true Iraq would become embroiled even deeper in the fighting going on between the religious factions, eventually our troops have to come home, and then the same happens.

Anybody with a wit of common sense knows this. Our troops (brave as they are) are not going to "fix" Iraq. Only the Iraqi's can do that for themselves.

The sooner the troops come home, the sooner the Iraqi's can begin the fight to establish their own government.

An international peace keeping unit should remain in place to help prevent atrocities from occurring. But our troops need not be responsible for that role.

Do you not watch the news? Or take a look at the Navy Times, where they list the dead and wounded??? Iraq is already melting down. So how will that hurt the Democrats?

destabilize extra advantageous you advise? Dozens of folk die in iraq a week, you communicate approximately this to be good? As for signing up for the protection tension, evaluate why your going first. Are you going to guard the rustic, or be a mercenary for the oil companys? This occupation is merely approximately oil. Its approximately money. in case you wanna bypass to iraq and possibility getting shot at so rich human beings can get richer, decide for it, yet do no longer bypass thinking your saving the international or something of that nature. I dont want any further human beings killed or maimed in order that the government can handle them horribly while they come back to the states and cant get perfect well-being care.

I think most people realize the violence will continue with or without our presence. Most people also see that it is futile for us to stay, and want our troops to come home. I don't believe it will hurt the Democrats.

The democrats who are pushing for withdrawl are merely blowing smoke for the purpose of gaining votes liberal voters. They know full well what would happen if we pulled out. Even if they are in the White House come Jan 09 they will not pull out until the job is done. They know that their base is easily fooled, in addition to being too stupid to take care of themselves and needing big government just to get through life..

It didn't hurt them when they stopped the logistic flow to the South Vietnamese, who held out for a couple of years after the US troops left.

Yep violence will increase and spread over to this Nation.

Thank you Democrats for sealing your own fact, say good buy to control of Congress in 2008 and say good bye to The White House in 2008 too.

Not as much as the stream of body bags hurt the GOP....as far as I'm concerned the Arabs can kill each other as much as they like.....its amazing that people that so against immigrants have SUCH a soft spot in their heart for the well being of Iraqis.

It could definitely hurt the Democrats, but Bush will obviously veto the withdrawal bill, anyway.

Um, I hate to break it to you sparky - but Iraq is already melting down with violence.

On your boys watch.

Keep your head wedged firmly in between your butt cheeks though - you seem happier that way.
