We`ve already been too far!! But energy is still lacking behind... As long as our energy sources will not become almost illimited, we will be ok. But since the amount of energy produce also affect the level of destruction capacity on this planet, then its quite evident, that if we produce a lot of energy, our destructive capability will increase too! Now, knowing that we are already capable to blow the whole planet, do you think we can do worst? Me I think yes!!

there will be a point i n the future were we wont be able to think up of anything else we can make until we get ideas from somewhere else like alien ideas or alien advice on their technology

We will probably engineer practical cold fusion, hydro-powered machines, quantum computing, artificial intelligence, space ships that can take off and land in one vehicle, and eventually TRANSFORMERS!

The possibilities are limitless, we can achieve unforeseen heights. I shouldn't have to mention what things might hold us back however, that's obvious. :)
