OMG! I love them! Many of these stores sometimes get "leftover" mechandise with tags still on them and they sell them way cheaper than you would pay at the retail store!
Also what was fashionable 20 yrs ago is fashionable again today so you can find the cutest things ridiculously cheap! :)

The main reason people shop at charity shops is so that the clothing that they buy is of a cheap nature, and that the money they pay over is going to charity. Many people who go into charity shops have verry little money to spend on designer clothing, and so that is their only choice.

It's totally fine! You can find really creative and vintage stuff in those stores. They're the prefect places to find unique clothes. Plus all the money goes to a good cause.

Its a good way to save money on various items you could shop for as well as an easy way to "give back" to your community.

Absolutely nothing wrong with it. Sometimes you can find great treasures.
The only thing that is wrong about it is judging someone else unfairly when they have no choice but to shop there.

it is kinda disgusting sometimes, but it is good at times too if you need something you can't find anywhere else. an hey, it helps a good cause! its ok i think, but i would never buy an entire wardrobe from a place like that.

well, it is wrong if you have money and that stuffs for the poor people, but if its a place where u can buy things, and its not free, then i see no wrong in it, the stuffs prolly real cheap.

yeah, there is this one in my town that is a thrift shop in benefit of a rehab home for women. You get bargains and at the same time you get to help!!
