No not at all. My fiance and I actually prefer to stay home and watch movies in the privacy and comfort of our own home. We have kids too so I understand about not always being able to get a sitter. We'd much rather put the kids to bed and cuddle up to watch a movie. And if we get distracted from the movie to do "other things" at least we're not risking being arrested for committing lude acts in public.

no it's not lame. my bf and i don't even have kids and we still do this almost every friday night. we go to the store pick up some champagne and something for dinner. then we just sit around and cuddle while watchin a movie of our choice. tonight i think we might go out to eat but aside from that we aren't doing anything different. i enjoy friday nights with him more than any other night. it gives us a chance to shut off the world and reconnect with each other. cheesy but sweet all at the same time ^_^ hope you have a good night!

No that's not lame at all! I look forward to being with the love of my life cuddling on our sofa and watching movies together. Of course we will go out sometimes to a movie or dinner but staying at home sometimes is alright.

No, it's not at all lame. Lots of people, even childless ones, are staying in tonight. Proves that you're happy with each others company and don't need a crowd. I looked at your other question, and the guy had no right to answer it the way he did. I bet he collects bus tickets and goes train spotting. Ignore him, he isn't a part of your life. Enjoy yourself

this is what my honey and I do almost every night.....we have 3 kids and no money to go out and do something and pay for a babysitter. Went to the movies the other night and we could have bought a DVD for the price we paid or rented 4 or 5. Not lame...smart

No I don't think that is lame. I am sure that some loser college kid that is trying to get laid every night by a new girl wrote that. If you have children you are doing the right thing. What does that kid want you to do? Take your kids to the bar?

no it's not lame. there is absolutely nothing wrong with staying home with the kids on a friday night with the one you love and watch movies. it's very normal.

sounds like someone is jealous you have someone. remember misery loves company.

Not at all. Weekends are for doing whatever you want to do and spending a night in with your loved ones, a good flick and a big bowl of popcorn sounds like a great time.
