Hello guys, im an aspiring actor, currently living in the UK, I regulally attend film premieres in London or at least Red Carpet events, parties at Mahiki etc.. I was wondering if anyone could share some ideas or tips on how I could therefore use this to my advantage as an actor, it could be a good form of publicity, but how would i go about getting attention from the papparazzi or the media in general? I want to be a classy actor, not a falling out of clubs drunk actor....Lohan.

Any help will do, Thanks. HG.

Just come dressed stylishly and when people ask who you are, have something to say. Tell them your latest credit and that there's more to come from you. Always have a knowing wink in your eye and a smile for them. Most of them won't care, but some will snap pictures for future reference.

You could also say hello to those who are more famous than you when you are on the red carpet. They meet so many people they're likely to just be polite and say hello back and do the hug and kiss thing especially in front of the cameras. I don't personally like this, but it's up to you what you're willing to do to get someone to snap a pic of you with someone on the red carpet.

I say always have class. If you're tacky they may remember you but for the wrong reasons. Is all press really good press??? Debatable I'm sure.

Good luck being seen!
