I'm 17 and have three part-time jobs. However, I would like to start making more money as neither of the three jobs pay very well and I live in a very remote and rural area so I'm stuck for choice!

I don't want to hear about any scams or anything. Just genuine ways to make money.

I'm currently selling items through eBay on my mum's account as I don't have PayPal and am not old enough for it yet. (You have to be 18)

Wondered if anyone could help me out.

Thanks a lot.

I was going to suggest you do a bit of leaflet distribution work, until I realised you are not living in a busy city. Once upon a time, you could earn a bit extra doing baby-sitting or child-minding but this is all very regulated now in accordance with the law.

I really wish I could suggest something helpful but, unfortunately, I cannot. What I will say, however, is PLEASE don't get involved in 'online surveys'. I went in for this back in March. I was inundated with surveys which were either not worth any money whatsoever OR I never seemed to 'meet their criteria'. Most of these companies pay in 'i-points', which are worth NIL, or they pay real money (35p per survey) which will take you the best part of 5 mths to round up to £5! When you finally do accumulate £5, it will be another month till you actually get paid! Forget the surveys; all they will earn you is extra spam emails. Some of them are not survey companies at all. They are really out to sell YOU something!

Sorry I couldn't be a little more positive but you are too young to be led up the garden path by these companies.

Good luck anyway. Ebay's still your best bet!

You know, I totally understand what you are talking about, I tried many online surveys but they either pay a little money or was a scam. Ebay really depends on your products and demand, so I keep searching for different sites until I come across this one, it's possible to make money but you have to be consistent and dedicated to it, I have done lots of research on this online business and I found they are totally scam-free (BBB Certified!) if you need more information, please click on my profile or email me since it’s against Yahoo's violation and policy if I post the information here.

Hope this help!

You have to watch out for scams. You could do surveys online... there are a bunch of sites that are legit. One is globaltestmarket.com. You don't get a lot of surveys from any one company, but if you join a lot of companies, you should get a decent amount. Watch out for scams though. I have a website in which I personally check out Rip Off Report and scam.com for bogus programs. Check it out.
