JK - Sean Avery is a forward born from Ontario Canada. He is an ok shooter but his role is agitator. Basically go bug another team's players to throw them off their game. He is currently a free agent (he play with Red wings , Kings and Rangers in the past) He is the boyfriend of actress Elisha Cuthbert (Girl Next Door)

Sean Avery was voted the most hated player in the NHL, and he's the catalyst who basicly triggered the Rangers into the Playoffs last year. Once they acquired Avery they went 16-4-2 or so to end the season to get them into the playoffs. He plays with so much intensity and he's a pest to say the least. But this made him a fan favorite in NY and had the highest selling jersey in NY in the last month of the season.

Sean Avery is a professional hockey player who plays right wing and has played for the Los Angeles King and most recently the New York Rangers. He is currently a restricted free agent. He was voted Most Overrated Player by the other players in the league but was considered the sparkplug to fire up the Rangers and the reason why they made the playoffs last season. He is an agitator and pisses off the other players and tends to draw lots of penalties and helps his team by earning them power play time.

Avery is a forward (center/left wing) whos rights are held currently by the New York Rangers. He is a smaller player (about 5-9; 185 I think) and has been referred to as the 'most hated player in the league'. He's in many ways a prototypical 'pest' or 'agitator' and has twice lead the NHL in penalty minutes. He owns some offensive talent but his role on a team is primary to get under the skin of the other team's players and distract them from the game. Notably he recently was able to do this to Ilya Kovalchuk during the Thrashers/Rangers series, culminating in Kovalchuk going after Avery to fight
He was underdrafted and signed as a free agent by the Detroit Red Wings until he was traded to Los Angeles as part of a deal for Matieu Schnieder (2003). He played in LA until Feb 2007 when he was traded to the Rangers.

He's a player with the New York Rangers. He has a very aggressive style that gets under the skin of opposing players and because of his style of play, Avery has made many enemies in the NHL. In a 2007 poll of 283 NHL players, 66.4% said that Sean Avery was the most hated player in the league.
He is the type of player who attempts to annoy, anger, or distract opposing players in order to reduce their effectiveness or cause them to take a penalty.
Besides all that, he's actually a pretty effective point producer.

He is a small tough hockey player on the rangers. He doesn't score a lot of goals. About 5 to 10 a year. He stands in front of the net, screening shots. That pisses of the goaltender. He makes players on the other team angry and he rattles there game. Other teams hate Sean Averey, but if he is on your team you love him. He is fun to watch. I am a ranger fan, so I love him!

Wow I never thought I would hear Sean Avery refered to as a "tough guy" or a "power forward"
He is a below average hockey player who turtles any time he is confronted by another player...
He is like a tiny little dog with a big bark and no bite
He "played" the last season with the Kings and the Rangers...

He's an annoying little **** of a left winger that used to play with the L.A. Kings before being traded to the N.Y. Rangers earlier this year. He is actually not a bad hockey player, but he yaps so much on the ice and does such a good job at annoying the opposing players that he is about the most hated guy in hockey. He was going with that babe Elisha Cuthbert too.

This is a funny question. I used to watch Sean play when he was in the AHL playing for the manchester monarchs. Hes a good player. Hes known as the power foward.
